£472,255

Number of Young People Supported

720

Project name: CashBack on Track

Age range: 10-25 years

CashBack on Track will support 720 aged 10 – 25 young people who are at risk of engaging in antisocial or criminal activity. The programme will be delivered in secure and alternative education settings, including HMYOI Polmont, and in communities experiencing high levels of deprivation across Dundee, Falkirk, Glasgow, North Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire.

The project uses dance and physical activity to engage young people and address issues linked to offending, including boredom, low confidence, stigma and poor mental health. Sessions are delivered as part of an early intervention and prevention approach, with activity shaped around the needs and interests of participants.

Delivery is led by experienced tutors in safe, familiar spaces. Young people take part in regular sessions that support emotional regulation, confidence and resilience. Where appropriate, participants can access opportunities such as accreditation, performance, volunteering and leadership development.

CashBack on Track works in partnership with local services and community organisations, supporting young people to build positive connections and reduce isolation, while strengthening links to families and communities.
