CashBack to the Future is Impact Arts’ highly successful youth diversionary programme where we work with young people from Scotland’s most disadvantaged communities across four local authorities who are affected by poor life chances and at risk of anti-social behaviour.

The programme has two key elements: a Summer programme delivered over 5 weeks in all four areas, and a year-round programme (CashBack Hubs) delivered in three 12-week blocks across the year in Glasgow, Edinburgh and North Ayrshire only.

CashBack to the Future provides young people with opportunities to participate in a range of fun, creative activities in a completely different environment from school; engage with and contribute to their local communities through community projects and volunteering; develop social and core skills valued by employers; gain accreditations; and improve their confidence wellbeing in order to progress towards or into positive destinations such as college. Though this, young people we work with will engage in less anti-social behaviour, or report being less likely to engage in such behaviour in future.

A variety of different art forms are offered, including visual arts, performance and music-making, with creative activities facilitated by an experienced Creative Tutor, supported by a Youth Worker in each area.

Areas where project will be delivered:

Edinburgh City; Glasgow City; North Ayrshire; North Lanarkshire
