Project name: CashBack – Connecting through Creativity
Age range: 10-25 years
Connecting through Creativity uses creative activities and art to enable children and young people aged 10 to 25 to explore and maintain positive frameworks for relationships in their personal lives.
Using creativity and art, we support young people to explore trust, relationship building, emotional literacy and positive ways to work through difficult feelings. The programme is enjoyable and therapy-informed, with the flexibility to respond to individual need.
For most participants, our trained creative practitioners deliver:
- 12 group sessions
- 3 one-to-one creative sessions focusing relationships
- Optional group and one-to-one sessions for parents and caregivers, to build their confidence and understanding
The programme builds confidence and key skills like communication and planning. At the end of a programme, children and young people work together to deliver a workshop/exhibition/celebration event.
