Project name: GMAC CashBack

Age range: 14-25 years

GMAC Cashback uses filmmaking as a hook to engage young people aged 11-25 in learning, and supports them to develop the confidence, skills, and aspirations to progress into further learning/training opportunities.

The project includes:

  • Outreach activities
We deliver outreach activities to engage with young people from the most disadvantaged communities of Glasgow and its surrounding areas.
  • Intensive film-making training programme
Our intensive film-making training programme offers young people the opportunity to learn from industry professionals, raising their awareness of career options and training and education routes into the sector. We deliver one-to-one support to develop young people’s skills and interests, identify progression routes, and support them on their path towards education, training, volunteering, and employment.
  • GMAC Action
In the final year of the project, 15 young people will progress onto GMAC Action, where they will work with 15 community members to research, develop, and make a film about an issue in their community.
