About CashBack for Communities
CashBack for Communities is a unique Scottish Government programme which reinvests criminal assets recovered through the Proceeds of Crime Act to provide support to young people at risk of entering the criminal justice system and communities impacted by crime. Since 2008, £130 million has been committed to community initiatives to improve the quality of life of young people right across Scotland.
This report contains details of CashBack for Communities funded activities and projects within your local authority area, covering the programme’s achievements in supporting young people since the programme’s inception in 2008 up to 2022.

CashBack for Communities’ 24 Phase 5 Partners deliver activities ranging from diversionary youth work to more long-term potentially life-changing intervention projects through to the end of March 2023. The 29 CashBack Partners active in Phase 6 begin delivery in April 2023.
