Overview:
The application window for Phase 7 of the CashBack for Communities programme closed on 7th August 2025.
Thank you to everyone who submitted an application to the CashBack for Communities Phase 7 programme. We received over 260 applications, requesting over £120 million in funding making the programme 4.5 times oversubscribed.
The number of applications received reflects strong interest in the funding opportunity from across Scotland.
During the application period, we hosted a series of online information webinars to support prospective applicants. These sessions were attended by more than 400 individuals, representing a wide range of organisations and sectors. We are grateful for the high level of engagement and interest in the programme.
Assessment Process:
All submitted applications are now undergoing a structured and multi-stage assessment process. This process is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and consistency in the evaluation of proposals.
The assessment process includes the following stages:

No further action is required from applicants at this stage. We will be in touch with all applicants regarding the outcome of their application in due course.
