The CashBack for Communities Small Grants Scheme provides grants of up to £2,000 to support local volunteer led groups or units, who may not previously have had access to external funding, to enhance their programmes for young people and get positive projects off the ground.
This scheme is being managed by a partnership of six national, volunteer-led youth organisations:
- Scottish Council – The Scout Association,
- Girlguiding Scotland,
- Boys’ Brigade,
- The Girls’ Brigade in Scotland,
- Clubs for Young People (Scotland) and
- Youth Scotland, the network of Youth Clubs and Groups in Scotland.
It has been running since March 2010 and has so far distributed over £610,000 to youth groups, units and organisations across Scotland.
