Funding Opportunities

The Scottish Government has allocated available funds to 31 March 2020 to 17 partner organisations who are responsible for running projects across Scotland; to raise the attainment, ambition and aspirations of our most disadvantaged young people. Three CashBack Partners deliver small grants schemes and details of organisations who are eligible to apply, funding deadlines and how to apply are set out below:

CashBack for Communities Youth Work Fund

YouthLink Scotland, the national agency for youth work is responsible for accepting applications for each annual round of the Scottish Government’s CashBack for Communities Youth Work Fund. Each round is assessed by panels in the 32 Local Authorities to determine awards for successful projects and the latest round will be for those delivering between 1 April 2018 and 31 March 2019. The period for applying for the 2019/2020 funding round will be announced by YouthLink Scotland later this year.

CashBack for Creativity Open Fund

Delivered in partnership with YouthLink Scotland, the Open Fund is a strand of Creative Scotland’s CashBack for Creativity programme. A total of £250,000 each year will be invested in community-based arts programmes with individual proposals being able to access awards of up to £10,000.

The CashBack for Creativity Open Fund seeks to create creative learning opportunities for the target criteria groups of young people to access and engage a range of high-quality arts, screen and creative industries activities.

The period for applying for the 2019/2020 funding round will be announced by Creative Scotland later this year.
